The long-awaited history of the Church Commissioners is now available. It is called 'The Church of England in the Twentieth Century. The Church Commissioners and the Politics of Reform 1948-1998' by Andrew Chandler, published by Boydell & Brewer. It is 542 pages long.

Steven's fascinating account of the history of the Millbank area has been reprinted by public demand. If you came to a recent Annual Reunion you may have been one of the audience (it was standing room only) at the talk he gave about it.
